The reason you sometimes have such a hard time following through on what you plan is because the part of you that plans is not the same as the part of you that carries out your plans.

The part of you that plans is like:

“Productivity at all cost. We will take no breaks. We will have no snack.”

Meanwhile, the part of you that carries things out is over here like:

“I was told there would be fun.”

The part of you that plans:

“Please read fine print. You can have fun after you achieve goals.”

The part of you that carries things out:

“Well, this list looks like it’s going to feel really bad. Can I have some emotional support?”

The part of you that plans:

“We don’t really talk about emotions around here.”

The part of you that carries things out:

“So can I go to the bathroom?”

The part of you that plans:

 “No”

The part of you that carries things out:

“Well then, I’m not doing shit”

The part of you that plans:

“Maybe it’s time to bring out motivation stick.”

I like to think about these parts of myself as the manager part and the employee part. My highest level of success happens when I am listening to and meeting the needs of both parties involved. But if you have deeply ingrained automatic thoughts about the way that your life should go, and you do, it may be impossible to see how you can make both of these parts of you happy.

That’s where I come in. I’m an expert in the human mind and I can help you stop fighting yours.

Do you have good manager-employee relations?

Most of us don’t.

Which is why we have ZERO SELF TRUST.

I’m not going to listen to a boss who doesn’t care about my well-being.

And I’m not going to listen to an employee who does are about the success of my company.

But when these two parts work together, making small concessions where necessary to make greater gains, EVERYTHING starts to click.
