Exercise for more ADHD motivation! Challenge your “not” thoughts!!

If you are feeling stuck and not taking action, I have an exercise for you that will change your life.

What I want you to do is go into your mind and find all of the “not” thoughts that you are thinking.

Do this by writing down your thoughts for ten minutes without judging or editing.

A “not” thought is exactly what it sounds like: a thought with the word “not” in it.

Often these are hidden in contractions like I can’t, I won’t, I don’t.

Now you take that thought, remove the word “not”, and turn it into a question. So if you’ve been believing I can’t do it, you would turn that into what can I do?

Then you want to answer that question exhaustively.

I mean answer until your mind goes blank, and then ask yourself again, and do this for several days. Don’t discount or judge any of your answers. Write them all down.

When you have a finished list of answers to that question, I want you to be honest with yourself and ask if I were utilizing all of this information and taking all of these action steps, would I be making progress?

If I would be making progress, is it true that I can’t do it?

When you DO what you CAN more doors open. You have been given power. Use it.

“Not” thoughts rob you of the very thing that would change everything for you – your God-given power.

Do NOT allow yourself to live in the delusion that there is nothing you can do. There is always something you can do.

And when you do it on PURPOSE, you step into your future self.

The one who decides what is going to happen and MAKES IT TRUE.

I want to help you do this.

If you do this exercise and new problems pop up when you’re done, hit me up. I want to know about them. I want to help you solve them.
